Boxers wrap their hands to prevent too much damage from being done to them. The wraps act not only as a cushion, but provide support as well.

Bill Bustance, of Traverse City Mi., was a former pro boxer in the 80's who opened Trigger Boxing to remain in the sport he loves. He still gloves up occasionally to spar with his trainees.

Boxing gloves are a trademark of the sport; they allow the wearer to land strikes and blows without damaging their hands too much.
Dan Sutherland of Traverse City Mi. has been training at Trigger Boxing for years and is one of the veterans, he can be found within the gym helping out the newer guys better their craft as well as continuing his studies in the "sweet science."
